Subject: Bone Marrow Transplant Update, 9/28/99

Dear Friends,

I just got the results from the bone marrow biopsy that I went through last 
week.  Basically, my disease has progressed to where it is now in transition 
to acute leukemia.  This was going to happen sooner or later, but none of the 
doctors could predict when it would happen.  The impact of this is that the 
transplant will be moved up to happen within the next two or three weeks.  So 
much for getting those reports out.

I may still be in shock over this, but it is somewhat of a relief.  This long 
waiting period for the transplant to begin has been real difficult.  You 
think about it every waking moment.  I even had a few dreams about it.  

I will keep everyone up on the new schedule, and other pertinent information.
