Color photography and digital processing

We create photographs in 35 mm print and transparency formats. Over the past ten years, we have extended our experience to include digital signal processing of images. Our services include:

• black and white or color photography
• scanning of prints or transparencies into digital formats
• retouching / embellishing / restoring digital images

Our facilities include the following equipment:

• 35 mm and APS film scanner for transparencies and negatives
  • scan resolution 3200 dpi with 3.6 dynamic range and 16 bit color depth
• flatbed optical scanner with Transparency Unit (8.5 x 11.7 inch scan area)
  • scan resolution 10200 x 14040 pixels at 1200 dpi (maximum interpolated resolution 9600 dpi)

Digital sound recording and processing

We record a wide range of events including live events and demo CDs and tapes. Our facilities are best suited to small acoustic and vocal ensemble recordings. Our gear is also portable, so we can accommodate on-site recording. We also offer narration services using our own recording facilities.

We edit and produce video using the latest editing hardware and software from Avid, the most widely-used tool in the television and film industries. Our clients include Ciao Italia, the longest-running food show on national PBS.
